Early December proved to be an exciting time at Ardell, with the sale of the 140' Westship "MARTHA ANN" by the Ardell Florida office and the marathon four days for Ron Rickard with the sales of three yachts being finalized one after the other!

"FIREBIRD"
84' PALMER JOHNSON SAIL YACHT

First of the marathon trio to close was FIREBIRD, a famous 84' Palmer Johnson sailing yacht. FIREBIRD has at least two circumnavigations to her credit and is one of the great cruising yachts. Her new Australian owner, after purchasing the yacht from a Hawaii based seller, waited all of two hours before departing for Sydney, Australia, to rarely visited New Caledonia, some 1100 miles away, thus giving new meaning to the term “shakedown cruise”!

2007 Neptunus 65' MOTORYACHT

Closing two days after FIREBIRD, was “OUR FIRST EDITION”, a 2007 Neptunus motor yacht. This Canadian built boat has already left Fort Lauderdale for a shakedown cruise in the Florida Keys. This boat sold after only six weeks on the market, proving that a good boat, properly marketed and priced, can move very quickly.

MARLOW 78' MOTORYACHT

Closing a day after OUR FIRST EDITION, SOPHIE (now DAWN), a 2005, 78' Marlow Explorer, is being readied for a winter of cruising in the Bahamas, followed by a summer in the far North. The newly named DAWN is a great cruising yacht and I envy her lucky new owner the fun I am sure he is going to have on board this nearly new boat!
